Hi Lulu Girl,
Can you believe it. It's your one month birthday, and I go back to work in two days. My heart is broken.

These past 4 weeks at home, have been magical. I got see your brother thrive and learn on a daily basis - I got to see him do something other than eat dinner, bathe and go to sleep.

I got to watch you move from 5.5 lbs. to 7 lbs. and I got kiss your sweet face every day, as many times as I wanted.

I will miss you guys more than you know, and probably cry everyday, all day - until I get home.

Here is where you currently are...

Eating: Girlfriend, YES! You're eating is on a schedule, I am REALLY trying. Your brother ate me out of house and home all day, and all night. Your weight is on schedule and you have still not used a bottle, hopefully we can try it out tomorrow!

Sleeping: You nap like a pro, and your brothers crazy antics don't bother you. We don't have to sneak around the house and be quite as a mouse - you could care less, as long as you are wrapped up and warm. The night is still hit or miss - since you're on a schedule you are eating roughly every 4 hours-ish. Which means you tend to wake up at least once throughout the night.

Doing: You're pretty quiet and content. You nap most of the day, and are spending about 15 minutes a day on your tummy, and not hating it.

Wearing: You're still wearing NB and occasionally I can get you into a 0-3, but I love a good naked baby in a diaper and bow.

Biggest Milestone: You use a pacifier, which you must understand that I was the only thing that soothed your sweet brother so, this is HUGE. You also attended your first GALENTINES party at a sweet friends house, and were a dream boat!

Favorite Thing: Of course, it's me and your pacifier.

Sweetest Thing: You like to nuzzle your nose into my cheek and neck when you're getting burped.

Current Items I Can't Live Without to Survive Motherhood: Lou Lou + Company Rosie Ribbed Knit Swaddle, Willow Breast Pump and Bib's Pacifiers.

This first month with you, has been a dream. I never thought having two kids would be this rewarding, special and hard all wrapped up in two tiny and sweet packages. Adding you to this sweet family has been such a dream. I can't wait to watch you grow and change, and see all of the exciting things that this life has for you.

I love you forever and like you for always!

XO,
Mama
