I live in a dream world, being a mom ROCKS. If you would have asked me a year ago if this would have been my response, you're clearly mistaken but y'all... it's a world of happiness I can't believe I almost didn't get to witness!

Who would want to miss out on the exciting giggles, wiggles and wimpers when their whole day consists of you. It's an out of this world experience. It's so exciting that 2 months has come and gone so quickly, the amount of changing a sweet little babe does in a short two months is outstanding. He is a completely different boy. This morning was a blessing in itself, we ran errands, he played in his crib for about 45 minutes, let dad sleep in and has done so much already and it's only lunch time.

He must have known on this day two months ago he entered this world, I found him at 4:00 AM giggling, wiggling and having a ball awaiting the 20 minutes to pass so that he could finally say he was 2 months old. Shortly after he fell asleep in my arms and part of me didn't want to put him down. I am so thankful to be his mom.

Eating: This cutie loves chowing down and I love to nurse him. Some of our best moments are the sweet hours we nurse during the day.

Sleeping: He is still sleeping great, the terror jolts that would fill his sleep the weeks before have subsided for the most part, which saddens me... but he is so big and strong, all while sleeping like a champ.

Doing: Giggling, babbling, holding his head up, gazing at ALL of the photos on the wall and smiling. These are some of the greatest memories it is such a joy watching him progress. I think my favorite thing right now is watching his gaze up to the walls and see pictures and grin, smile and hold a conversation with all of the people in them. It's such a sweet, sweet sound.

Wearing: Waist wise, he wears new born. But most clothing is 0-3 or just 3 months. The boy is growing and for some reason I have a strong grip on the little clothes, part of me thinks put them in the attic, other parts of me say just sell them. It's a cruel world of hormones in the Hemphill house.

Biggest Milestone: He started laughing, really laughing... or so I think. You can make funny faces, tickle + love on him and he will just laugh and laugh. It's such a thing  of beauty.

Favorite Thing: Pictures + Josh Abbott Band.

Sweetest Thing He Does: Can everything be the sweetest thing? I can't think of just one. I love every little thing.

Favorite Part About This Age: He enjoys being outside, letting the pups kiss on him, he can hold his head up so he is a little less fragile + I can now take him out in public and not worry because I am on more of a schedule, which is nice.

Current Items I Can't Live Without to Survive Motherhood: Oh gosh, this list could be long. I think I will have to do a separate post on that. The short list? A sleep sack, the water from the faucet (M loves cuddling when I get home and take a bath and constantly falls asleep listening to the water), MudPie rattle socks + a water bottle.
