2 Months with my Lucy Girl,
It's your two month birthday, I am back at work and you are staying with your Gogo + Big Brother Mason! My heart is getting better... but everyday when I get home I think you have grown an inch and gained 2lbs. STOP GROWING.

You are a dream, sweet girl. I love everything about you. I love how much you giggle, I love your little smile that has just started to present itself and I love that you are losing and growing hair all at the same time. I love how much your brother loves you, and you finally got to meet your Cousins Landon + Violet, they LOVED you! Violet seems to think you are her baby, and we don't hate it. She is going to take such good care of you through the years!

Your sweet little body has now made it's way to 10 lbs. and when I start to talk, you turn your head to where ever my voice is coming from. You are getting to be the biggest little girl.

You are changing so rapidly and I hope that I never forget a thing so for now, here is where you currently are...

Eating: This is your favorite thing! You are such a good eater. You like a schedule, you know what you want - when you want it... and girl you eat it all, luckily; this far... your pacifier has become a GREAT appetizer.

Sleeping: Mama girl, you make me so, so proud. Now - comparing you and your brother is like comparing apples to oranges... but girlfriend you've got it going on. You love to nap, I think naptimes are definitely easier than night time, but you aren't far behind in this department either. I have to wake you usually in the early evening, around 5:30-6:00 PM for you to eat again, which usually leads to you getting a little bit fussy and the only thing that has seemed to calm you down is a little bouncing from Dad and me! But when you get your swaddle on tight, you get in a good REM Cycle, we have the sound machine and puppy light on - we usually don't see you until 4:45 AM the next morning! AND YOU'RE IN YOUR OWN ROOM!

Doing: This is my favorite part, you are getting your own little personality! Your smiles are very frequent, you are starting to use your voice and you are beginning to giggle. Everything about this stage makes me so, so happy!

Wearing: You are wearing 0-3 for the most part, I still have a few newborn things I can get you into, but I don't like for things to be too tight!

Biggest Milestone: You are sleeping in your own room, for a good amount of time! And you mastered the bottle in seconds. At the beginning, my poor heart couldn't take the fact that you wanted the bottle that quickly, but now -  you are happy either way and I think it is just a true reflection of your easy going personality!

Favorite Thing: You are loving a good bath right now! You also have recently started loving the rattles on your play gym!

Sweetest Thing: When you are in your car seat, I will put my hand on your chest to pat you, and without a doubt - you always grab my fingers!

These past two months with you and your brother have been by far some of the most exciting, self reflective and rewarding that I think I have ever had. You are so receptive to learning and you are absolutely thrilled to wake up each and every morning. It is so, so inspiring to see how you tackle each day with such an incredible sense of excitement and ease. You are so calm, sweet and special and I couldn't imagine this little life without you!

I will love you forever and like you for always!

XO,
Mama
