I get by with a little help from my friends the weekend.

» Though this past week I have totally been the Eeyore, the few shows that I watch ALL come on in one season... it's like Christmas!!! The Voice, 19 Kids and Counting (stop), Nashville, Greys Anatomy, Parenthood... I don't usually watch this much TV, I promise. I have boundaries. Please stop judging with those eyes.

» FALL IS HERE. No one gets more excited about this than me, don't test me, I promise I will win. I can't wait for pumpkin carving, pumpkin pie, holiday candles, treats, family gatherings, decorations, DIY place settings, my favorite pumpkin shaped candy that is horrible for you... P L E A S E someone stop me, because this could be a headache... sorry Adam?

Editors note: I will be getting married next fall, so seeing all of these things as a first and last time fiance make this experience so neat and exciting! Couples pumpkin carving, couples pumpkin pie,  couples treat making... I mean realllllllllly.

»  I have nothing to wear, literally. Nothing. And no, this is not an exaggeration, or maybe it is? I don't even know anymore. But the fact of the matter is I spend my mornings pouting (after I wake up late, shower, do my hair and watch Dog the Bounty Hunter, hush), because I can't find anything to wear that is fall appropriate. Or maybe I just can't ever look appropriate? Why can't my closet look like this? Or this...

» I am obsessed with Pinterest, this isn't new...but I love to read things about blogging? Always trying to learn more... right? But in my attempt to learn how to Create My Own Professional Identity as a Blogger I read that long paragraphs and posts were not the way to go. As I sat here reading over this piece I thought, this isn't Instagram, you come to read whats new, catch up and find out more. GRANTED: IF YOU ONLY COME TO LOOK AT MY PICTURES, I LOVE YOU AND I WILL TRY TO TAKE BETTER ONES. Needless to say, I am sorry if my posts are tooooooo long, I promise to make better use of your time in the future!

Hopefully your weekend is as good as can be! I have a wedding to attend: WHOA!

Sincerely, Shelbi
