Hi friends!
It's Monday again, so today we are taking off with the What To Wear portion for the Wedding Season series, which in most cases, is the biggest portion. Like I explained last Monday, weddings are stressful! But they are also full of fun and beauty! So don't let a last minute outfit let you down! Plan ahead and have it on your radar! (And as I learned this weekend, make sure to shower first thing in the morning, no matter what time the event is), but we will get into that later!

While the thought of being invited to a wedding is exciting, sometimes deciphering the difference in formal, semi-formal, cocktail and casual can leave you wanting to throw the invitation in the trash simply to say it just never arrived. But that's what I am here for, to help you decide which is right.

Typically for showers and bachelorette parties you can stick with a simple dress and for either event dress it up or down with jewelry, and heels! There are so many easy transitions that you take take from day to night and I am excited to show you what I think we all want to know!

A few tips and tricks that tend to be helpful this time of year:
  1. Subtle is key, don't try that new color block dress with your spiky jewelry and heels... I am not sure grandma would appreciate that look.
  2. Natural beauty is the way to go, A L W A Y S.
  3. No heavy jewelry for early morning / afternoon nuptials.
  4. NO JEANS, FLIP FLOPS OR WHITE / CREAM DRESSES!

These are some of my absolute favorites, whether I can afford them or not is another question... but that's why I Rent The Runway! If you have any questions regarding any of these pieces, JUST ASK! Otherwise, I will talk with you tomorrow!

What is your favorite Wedding Go-To?

Sincerely, Shelbi
