My humble abode consists of a 684 Sq. Ft. apartment quaintly located "Deep in the Heart of Texas" .

Though it is no Upper East Side brownstone in the burough of Manhattan, New York City- It is my first, it is my own, and it is truly my home.

My Loving Labrador who is known by the name of Dallyson, keeps me grounded and is the roommate of the century. She was adopted about a month ago, and is truly the closest thing to I child that I wish to have for quite some time.

Dally Girl

I never imagined that I would find myself renting, and for 13 months at that. With an electricity bill, renters insurance, and a trash fee. I figured I would be traveling the world or the United States at least, searching for new adventures rather than cashing in on my paychecks for new furniture and decor. Couches and lamps, rugs and center pieces, that is what I spend my days thinking of, what color should I use here? What pillows should I put there? I spend my days in a decorating furry.

I am on my own, out in the "real world". Seeking education and guidance, and solely searching for something to embark on.

I have had a fear of being alone almost as far back as I can remember, I can't imagine why I choose to be alone now, though I do come from a family of 50. (That of course is a stretch  but on holidays we are truly close). It is my own version of the Brady Bunch, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Much like the love shared with Mr.Big- it is an un-explainable love.

This little establishment just south of Heaven is where I love to spend my time and where I drink my wine. Until my next adventure, you can find me Deep in the Heart of Texas .

Some people are settling down, some people are settling,
and some people refuse to settle for anything less than butterflies.

 Sincerely, Shelbi...
